We are devoted to the early days of television, when performances were done live. Through October though, all of our program will be devoted to the season. The Halloween Season, that is. We will be featuring episodes of Suspense, Tales of Tommorow, One Step Beyond, Thriller, and more.

Why listen to STREAMING OV? Streaming OV has a broad format. The artists are a mixture of novice to veterans in the world of music. In other words, while some are just beginning their journey into music, others have been there and have decided to keep control of their own carreers. They are not necessarily interested in pursuing a full time career in the field of entertainment-- however, they do want their music to be heard.

Who should listen to Streaming OV?

Anyone and everyone who loves music. Streaming OV offers a playlist that commercial stations do not. We offer the best of the world's independent artists. This does not mean that our music is confined to indie rock, because it isn't. We are a crossover station and play many genres of music throughout our broadcast day. When you listen to us you definately expand your musical knowledge; be advised though, that we do not censor our artists.

Anyone and everyone should give us a try. The music lover will find bands and styles that he or she didn't even know existed. The independent producer may find that act or perfect song or score for his or her project. Artists may find a song or style or arrangement that will expand his or her own repetoire, and every one will find literally hours and hours of quality, rockin', rythmic performers to incorporate into their music libraries-- cause we not only play the music, we will tell you where to find it. And if we don't, well, you only need to call or email us and we will get that info to you.

Play us at home, take us to work, play us in your business. Take us anywhere that you need original, non commercial quality entertainment.

An Invitation:

Stop by and check out Streaming OV. What is it? It is our new internet radio station that is dedicated to bringing you music from independent artists that want to be heard. Who are these artists? They are people with a whole lot of talent and no label. People who want their music to be heard and appreciated. Right now we are focusing on Rock, Techno and Pop. But we will be expanding and adding more genres. But that isn't all we're offering. We are also broadcasting the best of radio's dramatic broadcasts. CBS Mystery Theater, Nightfall, The Devil and Mr. O are just a few of the programs that you will be able to enjoy.

Each broadcast day will begin at 3:00 pm est, and sign off will be around 3 am. Stop by and check it out. Let us know what you think.

Gallegher

Are you looking for a story for the whole family? Well, we've just posted "Gallegher". It's a great action-adventure story out of gaslit Philly.

Written in the language of the time, and not as out moded as you might think, it is the story of a young copy boy who loves and works the newspaper business. Gallegher is not your average kid. Here is an excerpt from the story:

All Gallegher knew had been learned on the streets ; not a very good school in itself, but one that turns out very knowing scholars. And Gallegher had attended both morning and evening sessions. He could not tell you who the Pilgrim Fathers were, nor could he name the thirteen original States, but he knew all the officers of the twenty-second police district by name, and he could distinguish the clang of a fire-engine's gong from that of a patrol-wagon or an ambulance fully two blocks distant. It was Gallegher who rang the alarm when the Woolwich Mills caught fire, while the officer on the beat was asleep, and it was Gallegher who led the "Black Diamonds" against the "Wharf Rats," when they used to stone each other to their hearts' content on the coal- wharves of Richmond.

"Gallegher" is a warm hearted, action story that is great fun for both kids and adults. So no matter what your age is stop by and check it out-- You'll be glad you did.

SECRETS OF THE OUIJA

Halloween is here and it is time to scare ourselves simple. It is time to seek out those things that go bump in the night. It is during this time of year that many people choose to experience for the first time such events as seances and Ouija Boards. Now for you disbelievers stop your snickering, 'cause there must be something to the witchboard, 'cause, some states throughout the land forbid it's use. Here is something to consider:

When Mary Shelley wrote "Frankenstein", many found it an obscenity. "Electricity does not give life," they rebuked, "it takes it away!". Later we would learn that it does both. But how did Miss Shelley know? And what about the predictions-- though not intentional, of writers like Jules Verne? One possibility it is believed, is that they were instruments of communication; many believe that the ouija board is an instrument of communication and not merely a board game-- not an inanimate object. One famous writer said that it was the only toy that he'd ever seen that could send grown men screaming into the street. Whatever it is, be advised that the ouija can be a strong influence. It depends on the participants. If you do use it or intend to do so, use it with the utmost care, for if it is a toy it can be a dangerous one.

So, this being said I suggest to you that if you plan on an event that includes the board then please stop around and check out the "Secrets of the Ouija". Secrets was written in 1917 by two psychics who really got into the Ouija experience. You more than likely wouldn't take a cross-country trip without first studying a map, would you?
